Recruiter Pro ("we", "our", "the extension") is a Chrome extension that helps you automate LinkedIn Recruiter outreach with AI-personalized messages. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the extension and sign in with Google.

Information we collect and use

When you use the extension without signing in: We use your LinkedIn Recruiter account ID (numeric) to provide the free tier (e.g. message limits). This ID is sent to our backend to check usage and prevent abuse. We do not store your LinkedIn profile data on our servers for the free tier beyond what is needed for the service.

When you sign in with Google: We use Google OAuth to identify you (email, name, profile picture). We use this to link your Google account to your LinkedIn Recruiter ID so you can own your subscription, restore it on other devices, and manage billing. We store a minimal profile (e.g. user ID, email) in our backend to provide subscription and usage features.

Message and template content: When you run automation, message content and template placeholders are sent to our backend so we can generate personalized messages (e.g. via AI). This data is processed to provide the service and is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.

Data storage and security

We use Firebase (Google Cloud) for backend services. Data is stored in secure, access-controlled systems. Tokens (e.g. Google OAuth access tokens) are stored locally in your browser by the extension and used only to authenticate with our backend.

Third parties

We use Google for sign-in (OAuth) and Firebase/Google Cloud for hosting and databases. Use of Google sign-in is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Your choices

You can sign out from the extension at any time (Usage & Plan → Log out). That removes the link between your Google account and the extension on that device; we may retain minimal account data as needed for billing or support. You can uninstall the extension to stop all local data use.
