Terms of Service

Welcome to Recruiter Pro. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Recruiter Pro and Reply Pro Chrome extensions, the recruiter-pro.live website, and our backend services (collectively, the "Service"). By installing, signing in to, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the entity you represent. You agree to comply with LinkedIn's Recruiter terms of service and any other third-party terms applicable to your usage. The Service is intended for legitimate recruiting outreach only.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. You may use the Service on devices you own or control. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to send spam, harass, defraud, or impersonate any person or company.
• Send messages that violate LinkedIn's policies, applicable laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR, anti-discrimination laws), or candidate consent requirements.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the extension or backend.
• Use the Service to scrape data at volumes that violate LinkedIn's terms, or to circumvent rate limits.
• Resell, sublicense, or transfer access to the Service without our written permission.

You are solely responsible for the content of messages generated and sent through the Service. The Service provides AI-assisted drafting; you remain the author and sender.

4. Subscriptions and billing

The Service is offered as a Free tier with usage limits, and paid Pro and Max tiers via subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices are listed on the product page and may change with notice. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from the extension; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are issued at our discretion, typically only in cases of duplicate charges or service failure on our side.

5. AI-generated content

Messages drafted by the Service are produced by large language models (e.g., Anthropic Claude). Output may contain errors, omissions, or content that misrepresents the candidate. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before it is sent. We do not warrant that AI output is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

6. Third-party services

The Service depends on Google (sign-in, hosting), Anthropic (AI), Stripe (billing), and LinkedIn (the platform you operate on). We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or actions taken by these third parties. Your use of LinkedIn through the Service is governed by LinkedIn's own terms.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including the extension code, backend, website, and branding. You retain ownership of the message content you send, the templates and requirements you provide, and any candidate data you process through the Service.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to that data handling.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or pose a risk to other users, our infrastructure, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and canceling any active subscription.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce specific outreach results (e.g., response rates).

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the extension or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
